13-18 Febru-rally
“Febru-rally” is a residential weekend for young people aged 13-18. Young people in Year 8 who are not quite 13 are also invited to attend. The name “Febru-rally” comes from a camp we have run for many years – Easter Rally. We can’t hold it in the Easter holidays in 2025 because school holidays in different counties don’t match up.
Febru-rally is from 4 pm on Thursday 20th – 12.30 pm on Sunday 23rd February 2025. We have a flexible ending time, so people can be collected between 11 – 12.30 pm. Everyone will have a packed lunch to either eat on the way home, or before they leave.
This camp will be held at Wellspring House, so will feel a lot like Easter Rallies of old (but perhaps a bit chillier!).
Young people stay for four days and three nights. During the day, there are sessions in the morning where we have discussion and activities which include learning about Bible stories. The theme of Febru-rally is “Change”, and the sessions in the mornings will be based on this theme.
One area of spiritual activity is that the young people work together in groups to lead a short morning or evening service. These are wonderful times of sharing the Lord’s love for us all, and for a joyful sing.
If you are aged 18, please contact us at least six weeks beforehand to have a DBS check made.
Social activities
The afternoons are for social time and leaving the building, weather permitting! The table tennis table will be available for some serious competition (as well as a bit of fun for the less competitive amongst the group), and there will be plenty of other games. Quiz night is a feature that will not be missed.
Trip!
There will be an outing one afternoon. Watch this space to see what the trip for this camp will be! In past years, we have been ice skating, to an indoor water park, and to “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here” to name a few places.
